Sally Khalifa Isaac

Prof. Sally Khalifa Isaac is an Associate Professor of Political Science at the Faculty of Economics and Political Science, Cairo University, Egypt.
Prof. Isaac holds a B.Sc. degree in Political Science from Cairo University (2001), and a Ph.D. degree in International History from the University of Milan, Italy (2006). She has been a 2010-Research-Fellow at the Research Division of the NATO Defense College in Rome; and a 2011-2012 Research Fellow at the Free University of Berlin, Germany.
Prof. Isaac is a Middle East specialist, with particular interest in strategic and security studies relevant to the Middle East, the Mediterranean Area, the Gulf region, and the Horn of Africa. Her publications handle mainly U.S.-Egyptian relations, Euro-Mediterranean relations, NATO-Arab partnerships, NATO-African Relations, and both Egypt's domestic and foreign policies. Prof. Isaac is an Egyptian scholar and speaks Arabic, English and Italian fluently.
