Carola Cerami

Dr. Carola Cerami (M.A. in International Cultural Management and Ph.D in International History, University of Milan) has founded and is the Director of the International Center for Contemporary Turkish Studies (ICCT). She is a research fellow in International History at the University of Pavia and a scholar of the Machiavelli Center for Cold War Studies (CIMA). Her main research areas and publications focus on: Turkish Foreign Policy; Turkey and CEE/EU; Black Sea Area; Eastern Mediterranean Area; European Integration; Transatlantic Relations in the 70s; and, “Soft Power”. Dr. Cerami is a member of the teaching staff of the Master in Mediterranean Studies at the University of Florence and a member of the Italian delegation for the Italian – Turkish Forum of Dialogue.
